About LiNPhA

Funded in 2024, spin off from KTH, LiNPhA AB is a Swedish company specializing in design, fabrication and characterization of thin-film lithium niobate optical devices.

The name LiNPhA is an acronym for Lithium Niobate Photonic Applications and recalls the Italian word linfa, meaning sap, which, rising up from the roots feeds and nurtures buds and leaves. Figuratively, linfa also means nourishment and lifeblood, a source of inspiration and strength.

LiNPhA provides electro-optic devices suited for high-speed / short reach optical telecommunication, backbone of data centers and local access networks (LANs), to enable faster and greener telecommunications, nourishing connections between people and fostering the growth of our society.
